About our Director/Instructor: Katrice Mubiru

Students describe Mrs. Mubiru as a very knowledgeable, kind and caring Instructor. She has taught as a Career Technical Teacher (CTE) for over 10 years. Mrs. Mubiru is also a Registered Kinesiotherapist and Life Coach. She and has worked in the health and fitness industries for more than 15 years. As a first generation college student Katrice is very passionate about helping the underserved individuals of her community to succeed.

Katrice also had the privilege of meeting with President Obama at Canter's Deli in Los Angeles, to discuss her some of her concerns about the future of Adult Education

( 7/21/14). She also introduced him later that day at Los Angles Trade Tech College. 

Ms. Jenny Alcazar, Massage Therapy instructor/Reiki Master, was born in Lima-Peru (Callao). After working many years as secretary, she decided study Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Massage Therapy and Reiki. Jenny also worked as volunteer therapist at the Medical Center of the Peruvian Red Cross in Surco-Peru.

Since 2005 in San Fernando Valley California, she continues studying and working as Physical Therapist Aide, Certified MassageTherapist, Reflexologist and Reiki Master.

All these natural ancient healing techniques help to harmonize the body because of stress and different diseases, also consider as part of complementary and alternative treatment, included cancer and HIV. They are suitable for people of all ages (children). These therapies relieve body pain and clears away blockage in the flow of energy around the body (aura). It is also a powerful preventative therapy, promoting a deep sense of relaxation to a state of health and harmony - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. 

Jenny practices yoga, meditation, tai-chi, metaphysics and spiritual counseling that are divine tools of experience and knowledge for her job as therapist and instructor.
